The GovernorLine Advisory Board comprises members from the National Governors' Association (NGA), the Department for Education (DfE), National Co-ordinators of Governor Services (NCOGS) and Information for School and College Governors (ISCG).
The Advisory Board is responsible for the strategic oversight of GovernorLine: reviewing the scope and direction of the service by ensuring:
- appropriate consideration and dissemination of regular reports,
- annual evaluation, and
- on-going monitoring.
The board receives monthly reports on the operation of the service and helps ensure that the quality of the service is maintained. It meets at the start of each term.
